A Collaboration With Bannockburn Vineyards.
It was an absolute pleasure & an honour to work with Matt Holmes & his dedicated team at Bannockburn Vineyards on this little project that perhaps shows that there sometimes can be overlap in beer with wine. This hybrid ale is a wonderfully cloudy & complex little number. I get a lot of stone fruits as it warms, along with crushed almonds and a lovely minerality (almost saline-ish) perhaps from Bannockburn's semi-maritime climate, that delivers the finesse one would expect when drinking a Bannockburn wine. One to drink now and for the cellar for up to 10 months.
